A weekly treatment, kept simple.
Bidan means "silk" in Korean. The mask is named for its primary active — a sericin-based silk peptide produced by a single sericulture cooperative outside Cheongju, the same farm we have worked with since 2019. Sericin is the protein the silkworm uses to bind the strands of its cocoon; on skin, it forms a thin film that improves hydration and texture by morning.
The texture of the mask is closer to a thin balm than a sheet preparation. It is meant to be applied generously, left on for the length of a long bath, and pressed in or rinsed off — your preference. We have found that customers in dry winter weeks prefer to press it in; in summer, most rinse.
The supporting actives are pearl extract (calcium-rich, mildly exfoliating over time), Jeju camellia oil (the same as in our cleansing oil), and a small concentration of niacinamide. The cream is unscented and almost colorless, with a slight pearl shimmer that is the mineral, not a pigment.
We sell it in a slightly larger jar (100 ml) because it is used in heavier amounts than the daily cream, and we did not want anyone to feel they were being stingy with it.

How to use사용법
Once a week. Sunday.
- 1On a chosen evening, complete Steps One and Two of the ritual (cleanse and essence).
- 2Take a half-teaspoon of the mask. Apply generously across face and neck, avoiding the immediate eye area.
- 3Leave on for 30 to 60 minutes — the length of a long bath. Read; sit.
- 4Rinse with lukewarm water, or press the residue into the skin as a treatment. Skip Step Four of the ritual.
The mask replaces the cream on the evening of its use. The skin will be quietly transformed in the morning; do not be alarmed.
